Welcome to the Labbe Lab!

We are a chemical kinetics group looking to solve critical energy problems through chemical modeling. Our strength is our ability to model multi-scale systems. We use electronic structure theory to understand the potential energy surfaces and reaction rates for individual molecules, kinetic models to understand the chemistry of common combustion benchmark experiments such as ignition delay times and flame speciation for laminar systems, and reduction techniques to understand the chemical physics of turbulent systems such as real engines.
