Hey everyone! My name’s Emma, and I am a junior at CU Boulder studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I have always been interested in marine biology but am excited to learn more about parasitology through the Johnson Lab! In terms of research, I am currently working on the marine project that studies Black Spot Syndrome in herbivorous fish and will be adding on to this research by connecting Osprey diet to the prevalence of this parasitic infection. Outside of the lab, you can find me outdoors hiking or playing ultimate frisbee on the CU women’s team Colorado Quandary!
