The Johnson Lab Participates in the Colorado Advantage Program!

This past month, the Johnson Lab collaborated with the Colorado Diversity Initiative where we welcomed two prospective graduate students, Diana Miscell Beatriz Perales and Maria Gabriela Diaz Gonzalez, who traveled to Colorado from Puerto Rico! The Colorado Advantage Program is a fully funded opportunity for students from underrepresented backgrounds to explore graduate school prospects at the University of Colorado Boulder. This program provides the funding, travel, lodging, and meals, making it accessible for interested students across the United States!
During their visit, the students engaged in lab tours, met with our graduate and undergraduate members of our laboratory, and gave a short presentation about their research history, future goals, and what questions they would like to investigate. After that busy day, the Johnson Laboratory further welcomed them to Colorado through a lab happy hour that evening!
