Michael is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder (CU). He was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Applied Mathematics here at CU. He obtained his graduate degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (2010), and his bachelors degree from the University of California, Berkeley (2004).
