Laura Shannon

Laura is a fourth year graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. She joined the Experimental Aerodynamics Laboratory after completing her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Washington State University Vancouver. Her current work investigates the effects of environmental variables like wind and ground slope on flame dynamics. Outside of research, Laura enjoys adventure whether it's through traveling, hiking, or reading.
