Graduate Students

2023 application cycle: I will be reviewing applications to possibly take on a new student as a primiary mentor for the '24/'25 academic year.

Interested students should apply to the Social Program in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. Application deadline is November 15.

Undergraduate Research Assistants

We are typically always looking for undergraduate research assistants to join the lab. Responsibilities for research assistants include: designing experiments and materials, running experiment sessions, coding and analyzing data, and participating in lab meetings. Undergraduate students can work in the lab in a variety of capacities, including: academic credit (independent study), UROP undergraduate fellowships, senior honors, and volunteer. We are particularly interested in students who can commit to at least two semesters in the lab, and post-bacs are encouraged to apply as well.

If you are interested in joining the lab, please email the following to Sean (Sean.Reilly@colorado.edu):

  1. A brief statement indicating your interests, what kind of research experience you are seeking, what capacity you would like to work in (work study, academic credit, etc.), approximately how many hours/wk you are available, and when you would be available to start.
  2. Your resume, including any applicable references.
  3. Your unofficial transcript. RAs typically have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. (Note: First year students do not need to include a transcript)
