I obtained my B.S. in biology from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2013. After working for a few years I decided to go back to school and obtained my B.A. in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019. Now, I'm a joint member of the Evolution and Social Cognition (ESC) Lab and Emotion, Decision-Making, Judgment, and Identity (EDJI) Lab at CU Boulder.

I am interested in studying errors in judgment and decision making in daily life along with the evolutionary foundations in cognitive heuricistics and biases. How do cogntive processes in decision-making lead people to erronious beliefs? How do perceptions of group attitudes influence a person's own attitudes? Can basic cogntive processes such as attention influence altruistic behavior? These are the kinds of questions I hope to explore.
