Living with metastatic cancer? Feeling down, concerned, or worried?
Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers and the University of Colorado Boulder are offering a study for adults with metastatic cancer who are feeling anxious, down, or distressed. The Valued Living Study compares a 5-week online skills group to usual supportive care. Participants can earn up to $150.
You may be eligible if you:
Have stage IV solid tumor cancer
Feel anxious, down, or distressed
Are out of bed most of the day and can attend online group sessions
We welcome individuals of any race, ethnicity, age, sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic status, or national origin.
The University of Colorado is offering an online study for adults with Stage III or IV cancer or actively treated blood cancer who are feeling anxious or distressed. The EASE Study evaluates a 5-week online writing intervention where participants work one-on-one with a therapist to address fears and concerns about cancer and the future. The EASE intervention uses a writing-based exposure therapy approach to address an individual’s worst-case scenario about cancer toward the goal of reducing their fear and distress. Participants can earn up to $230.
