Mateo Chavez

Mateo earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His undergrad thesis investigated music interventions on math anxiety, and his master's thesis designed and implemented a mindset-based intervention for social anxiety. His research interests include mindfulness therapies for social anxiety and designing interventions to better serve those with marginalized identities.
