The LeRoy Keller Center for the Study of the First Amendment is pleased to welcome our first guest speaker of the academic year, Dr. Deborah Hellman, who will present a draft of her latest project, “Political Bribery and Responsive Politics.”

Deborah Hellman joined the University of Virginia Law School in 2012. Her research spans a variety of subjects, including affirmative action, campaign finance reform, and constitutional law. She is the author of When is Discrimination Wrong? (Harvard University Press, 2008) and co-editor of The Philosophical Foundations of Discrimination Law (Oxford University Press, 2013).
