Our Team

Dr. McQueen is a Professor of Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder. As an epidemiologist and applied biostatistician, Dr. McQueen's research objectives are focused on the development and application of epidemiological and biostatistical methods to advance our understanding of human disease from genes to populations. Theresa D. Hernández is a professor of psychology and neuroscience (CU Boulder), and physical medicine and rehabilitation (Anschutz Medical Campus). Dr. Hernández studies traumatic brain injury (TBI) utilizing both basic and clinical neuroscience approaches. The goal of her program of research is to delineate what adversely impacts the recovery process, as well as therapeutic targets of opportunity to minimize these negative impacts and optimize outcome.

Dr. Bohr is a research assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. He completed his doctoral training in 2015 as a member of Dr. McQueen's epidemiology lab, primarily studying early environmental factors impacting obesity. In addition, he collaborated and consulted on analysis techniques with several of his fellow graduate students while completing his PhD. As project coordinator, Dr. Bohr will monitor quality control and completeness of the data.
