Boulder Black Blossoms aims to promote an uplifting, supportive and reflective space for individuals who self-identify as Black (Black culture refers to the diverse range of customs, traditions, beliefs, practices, art forms, languages and social behaviors that have emerged from the experiences and contributions of people of African descent) and women (different from female, woman is a social construct emphasizes gender over biological sex) and are enrolled in one of CU Boulder’s STEM department or School of Education graduate programs. Participants who complete the program will receive a $1000 compensation. Join our info session to learn more about Boulder Black Blossoms.

Each year the Office of Graduate Access and Retention works to build an inclusive CU Boulder graduate community through recruitment and support that honor diverse backgrounds.

The Environmental Fellows Program at the Yale School of the Environment is a 12-week summer fellowship opportunity that seeks to diversify the environmental field by cultivating the career aspirations of master’s and doctoral students from historically underrepresented groups by connecting students to work opportunities in environmental nonprofits, grant makers and government sectors.

The 2024 application will open on November 1 and will close January 31 at 11:59pm ET.

The Perez Research Fellowship is a one-year stipended fellowship for social science graduate students and professionals of color who want to learn about and contribute to the field of applied research and consulting. Established in honor of our founder’s mother, Dora Perez, fellows receive training in research methodologies, participate in research projects, build their professional networks, and enjoy the opportunity to learn from a leading community-centered research and design firm. Upon successful completion, a small number of fellows may be invited to extend their participation for an additional year.

Applications for the 2024 PRF will open in mid October, and will be due December 11, 2023
