GAR is thrilled to announce its upcoming 2024 SMART Research Poster Session, a dynamic showcase of groundbreaking STEM research conducted by 21 talented undergraduate students from across the nation. This event not only highlights the students' hard work and dedication but also GAR's commitment to enhancing diversity in STEM fields. Join us on August 8, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m., for a captivating display of innovation.

These promising young scholars hail from a variety of esteemed institutions, including Xavier University of Louisiana, University of South Florida-Main Campus, Colorado College, Rochester Institute of Technology, Texas State University, and many others. They bring with them a rich array of academic backgrounds, studying in fields as diverse as Environmental Sciences, Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, and Applied Mathematics.

The session is set to commence with an invigorating talk by Dr. James Negus, a renowned solar physics research scientist. Dr. Negus will discuss the future of inclusive research, aiming to inspire these young researchers to integrate inclusivity into their scientific endeavors.
