Jayne Kinney

Dr. Jayne Elizabeth Kinney

Jayne received her PhD from University of Minnesota in History and American Indian Studies. Her current research focuses on the leadership of Indigenous women of the Northern Great Plains in the 19th and 20th centuries. She is currently a college access coach at College Possible Minnesota. She is writing a curriculum for Secondary Education units on Indigenous History, which empowers students to conduct oral history interviews and tell the histories of their communities.
