Academic Advisor

Fall 2021: Will Hamilton, Advisor for International Affairs (and Political Science; Economics), will be working both on-campus and remotely. Using the advising portal, you are able to book in-person and/or Zoom (web conference) appointments with Will to best meet your advising needs. On campus in-person meetings with Will are in CLUB 202 and 212 (2nd floor of the University Club building on campus).

  • If you are unaware of how to use the Zoom tool, please check out the resources listed through OIT.
  • If you are still having trouble downloading and setting up your Zoom account, please contact oithelp@colorado.edu and they should be able to help answer your questions.
  • Zoom works best when operated on a computer, but there is mobile functionality. 
  • For university meetings, we request that students use a computer to maximize the utility of the application.

Will Hamilton joined CU in 2020 as an academic advisor for Economics, Political Science, and International Affairs. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina,  Will earned his BA in Women's and Gender Studies from Denison University in Granville, Ohio where he was active in the theater and performing arts communities. Will then went on to earn his M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Ohio University, where he worked with the Community Standards and Student Responsibility team.

Will is a committed advocate for the Liberal Arts education and enjoys sharing in the joys and frustrations of the college experience with the students he works with. In his spare time, will enjoys hiking, live music, online video games, and collecting vinyl records.
