Greg Movesian
Greg is the Managing Director of Upway Consulting, LLC, where he provides fundraising consulting services to a variety of arts, education and human-service nonprofits. Throughout his career, Greg has held many leadership positions in the U.S. and abroad including as Director of Development for the University of Denver School of Law, Chief Advancement Officer of the Denver Scholarship Foundation and Chief Development Officer for Girl Scouts of Colorado. Greg started his career at the Martin J. Moran Company in New York where he rose to Executive Vice President and supervised regional major capital and endowment campaigns. Greg has served on many nonprofit boards including as Chair of the Community College of Denver Foundation board. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University during which he studied for a year at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and the Insitut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales. Thereafter he earned a Master of Arts in Social Sciences with a concentration on Middle East economic and social development from the University of Chicago.
