Student Wellness Experience

Coming in Fall 2024.

Students start your journey to discovering new wellness routines!

Every half hour, engage in a new activity from F45 to making your own aromatherapy. Come wearing comfortable clothes and ready to participate in a wide range of fun activities.

Experiences and Resources at the Fair

F45

Join us in the F45 space to try out  a 20-minute sample of F45. This functional, full-body workout can help improve energy, metabolic rate, strength and endurance. Be prepared to get your heart rate up and your excitement going.

CrossFit

Stop by the CrossFit space for a general tour and get your questions answered by a Rec Center Cross Fit Level 1 coach.

Stress(less) Experience

Try different ways to help manage stress, including make your own aromatherapy and stress balls, nutrition for stress reduction, and accupressure. These activities will be ongoing between 2 and 4 p.m. in the Medium Meeting Room overlooking the ice rink.

Mindful Painting

Doing something creative can help you express emotion and activates new neural pathways when you're feeling stuck. Mindful painting exercises will take place in the program meeting room. Space for these sessions is limited to arrive early.

Meditation Sessions

Stop by the Outdoor Pursuits meeting room  and experience a 20 minute meditation with Fit Well Mind Body Instructors. Great time to try meditation cushions or eye pillows. Instructors will gently guide participants through a calming meditation which they can use anytime.

Wellness Wednesday Yoga

Healthy movement is important for our mental and physical well-being. This week, we have partnered with the Rec Center to offer students a free yoga class! Check out our website for all the free yoga classes we will offer this year. All abilities welcome; advance sign-up is required.
