Communities

Health Promotion communities are designed to support students’ well‑being and sense of belonging. From recovery‑focused spaces to wellness‑centered housing and pre‑arrival programs, these communities help students connect and navigate college life together.

CU Collegiate Recovery Community

The CU Collegiate Recovery Community (CUCRC) offers connection and support for students, faculty and staff who are in recovery or exploring recovery from a range of unwanted behaviors, including substance use, gambling, self-harm, media addiction, food and body image concerns and other mental health challenges.

Mind and Body Buffs Pre-Arrival Program

Mind and Body Buffs is a pre‑arrival experience that helps new students start college feeling grounded and connected. Students learn mindfulness and well‑being practices, connect with peer wellness coaches and spend time exploring campus and getting active at The Rec.

Healthy Buffs Living and Learning Community

The Healthy Buffs LLC is a residential community for students who want to live, learn and grow together around well‑being. Through shared experiences and personalized wellness support, students build connections while learning skills that support health and balance during college and beyond.

CORE Membership & Housing

The CORE Membership program provides students an opportunity to join a close-knit recovery community and access additional support resources like sober housing.
