Phi Chapter

Gamma Phi Beta sorority was founded by Helen M. Dodge, E. Adeline Curtis, Frances E. Haven and Mary A. Bingham in 1874 at Syracuse University. We were founded on the values of love, labor, learning and loyalty. Our members constantly strive to inspire the highest type of womanhood within and outside of our chapter. We continue our founders’ mission by promoting intellectual growth, female empowerment and service to our community.
Philanthropy
G Phi supports Girls on the Run, an after school program where girls train for a 5k that they complete at the end of the program. Along they way, participants learn valuable lessons about female empowerment and wellness! G Phi members volunteer to be running buddies and also raise money through “Moonball” in the fall and “Pizza Palooza” in the spring.
