Legacy and Letter of Recommendation Policy

Letter from the PresidentJules Geneser

On behalf of our 11 chapters, welcome to the University of Colorado - Boulder Panhellenic Council, CU's largest women’s organization.

I am beyond excited about your interest in the CU Panhellenic community. Whether you are a new student or a returning student, this year will hopefully be filled with fun and exciting moments. Each of our chapters offers a supportive, inspirational, and empowering environment that no doubt enhances members’ experiences here at CU. While each chapter and woman in our community is undoubtedly unique, our core values of academics, leadership, service, and sisterhood link us together to form the amazing CU Panhellenic community.

When I came to CU, I was nervous to be going to such a large school where I feared that I would not be able to find a sense of belonging. When I signed up for recruitment, I was so nervous. I went to a high school with a graduating class size of 127 people and on top of that we were in peak COVID lockdown. At this time meeting new people was almost impossible so I took the risk and decided to join Formal Recruitment. Even though this was an exhausting and stressful process, I ended up where I was meant to be and I am a better person for it. These women push me out of my comfort zone, motivate me to be my best self in every aspect of my life, and inspire me to grow and expand my knowledge daily. My time in Panhellenic has shaped me into the woman I am today, providing me with the best memories, opportunities, and friends I have made at CU.

You may be scared, nervous, or unsure whether Panhellenic life is for you, and that is completely fine! We are here to help every step of the way to ensure you find your home at the University of Colorado. I encourage you all to trust the process and know that you will end up where you are meant to be!
