Sean is a certified engineering geologist and professional geologist specializing in characterizing geologic ground conditions, and hazards for critical facilities involving tunnels and underground construction, engineering geology studies, tunnel rehabilitation and geohazard analysis and mitigation. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degree in geological sciences from the University of Colorado. He brings two decades of experience merging a regional geologic understanding and local site explorations to create a comprehensive picture of anticipated ground conditions and behavior. Sean specializes in utilizing multiple techniques and unique datasets within investigations involving rock mass classifications, tunnel mapping, engineering geology, subsurface exploration, and three- or four-dimensional characterizations.
