Anne completed her Master's degree in Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering in Spring 2022, focusing on power systems and energy markets. She is now employed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Her research evaluates how batch chemical manufacturing processes can be optimized with the electric grid to achieve cost savings and emission reductions. Prior to CU, Anne received her BA in Physics from Carleton College. Since then, she has worked in multiple energy sectors including wind blade manufacturing, nuclear fusion, batteries and distributed energy resources. In her free time, Anne loves road biking, playing basketball and learning new languages.
