Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute
Amirhossein Sajadi was a research faculty with the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute (RASEI) at University of Colorado Boulder, from 2020 - 2021, and is now a research affiliate. He also holds an academic appointment with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Systems and Control Engineering from the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH. Prior to joining the RASEI, he worked as a Senior Engineer in Office of Regional Energy Market at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Case Western Reserve University, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester, UK. Amir is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He serves as the Guest Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems (Elsevier) for a special issue on power system planning with high-penetration of renewable power plants and an Editor for the Journal of Renewables; Wind, Water, and Solar (Springer). The areas of his expertise center on systems and control theory and methods with a particular emphasis on future electric power and energy systems - especially stability analysis and control of complex dynamics - to enhance the stability, security, and resiliency of energy delivery.
