Working with Virus
Theresa and Emily are currently work on a protocol for how they would like users to work in the viral biosafety cabinet (BSC) that is located in room C370H. Once this protocol is refined it will be posted here. Currently they ask that users wear safety goggles, closed toe shoes, long pants, two pairs of gloves, and a viral lab coat. They also ask for long hair to be tied back. You will not be able to work in the viral BSC unless you have spoken to Theresa first. You can view the protocol for working in the viral hood here when it is complete.
