Rachel Eastman recently became a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). According to the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, The CSP is “a certification that demonstrates you have met the requirements for the gold standard of safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) credentials and have achieved the industry’s most-recognized SH&E certification.” To gain the CSP certification she had to meet eligibility and experience criteria in SH&E disciplines as well as pass a comprehensive exam. This was the final step in a two-step certification process.
