2022-2023 Ski Bus tickets
Ticket Information
Regular Tickets
Regular ticket holders may purchase one (1) regular ($20) ticket for a non-student guest. Herd Leadership Council code users may not purchase a Herd ticket for a guest, but may purchase one (1) regular ($20) ticket for a non-student guest.
In the event of inclement weather conditions, see our facebook page CU Ski Bus for cancellation or delay information. Tickets for trips that we've canceled may be exchanged for a future date or refunded.
There are two types of tickets available for all trips of the Ski Bus:
- Regular tickets are available for $20 (roundtrip) for current University of Colorado at Boulder students, faculty, and staff. There are 35 regular tickets available for each trip.
- Herd tickets are available for $10 (roundtrip) for current CU students who use a Herd Leadership Council code. There are only 20 Herd tickets available for each trip.
People not affiliated with the University of Colorado at Boulder are not eligible to purchase or receive tickets for the Ski Bus under any circumstances except the following:
- Each University student, staff, or faculty member that purchases a regular ($20) or Herd ticket ($10) is eligible to purchase one (1) regular ($20) ticket for a non-University-affiliated guest. The University student, staff, or faculty member must board the bus on the day of the trip in order for the guest to be allowed to board the bus.
Standby Tickets
We also offer standby tickets on the morning of the bus trip. You can pick up the bus as a stand-by at any bus stop, however we can only guarantee your spot at the Farrand Fields stop. If you get on at an earlier spot and there is no available seat at Farrand you will have to get off the bus and we will not be supplying a ride back home (this has never happened though). They are only available on a space-available basis to fill empty seats on the bus, and will be sold for $20 (via credit card). These tickets are not guaranteed to be available, but typically we have between eight and fifteen seats available on the morning of the trip due to no-shows. To date, we have never turned down a patron hoping to purchase a standby ticket. Exact change is appreciated.
Change and Refund Policy
*Tickets are non-refundable*
In the event that you can not use a ticket you are welcome to give it or sell it to a friend for face value. If you sale a ticket for over face value we will permanently ban you from riding the ski bus. This person will tell the ski bus manager for whom they are skiing and we will mark them down in your place. Please note; if two people show up for one ticket only one can ride on the bus. The other will have to purchase a stand-by ticket.
