   What is climate justice?

Climate justice encompasses environmental justice and social justice. It acknowledges the issues we face today due to climate change effects on the social, economic and public health facets of society. It emphasizes the adverse impacts on underprivileged populations and aims to create balance through addressing inequities via long-term mitigation and adaptation strategies.
