Equipment Metering
To have us meter equipment in your lab, contact CU Green Labs (greenlabs@colorado.edu, 303-735-5612) to set up an initial consultation to gather information on the unit. The consultation should take no longer than 20 minutes. Green Labs will return with the meter to set it up on the unit. The meter goes in between the unit and the wall, so the unit will need to be unplugged momentarily to plug it into the meter. The meter will collect data for up to a week (depending on the type of unit) and a Green Labs staff member will then return to remove the meter and analyze the data. With permission from the lab, a sticker can be attached to the unit with a summary of the data.
