Ralphie’s Green Stampede and Ball Corporation began their partnership by unveiling the Aluminum Can Zone tailgate at Franklin Field. By featuring 100-percent and infinitely recyclable aluminum containers, the Aluminum Can Zone has helped to drive home CU Athletics’ zero waste mission. In 2019, CU debuted the Ball aluminum cup at Folsom Field and the CU Events Center, making it another sustainable first for Boulder.
Since 2011, Pepsi Recycling has worked with RGS to significantly increase the recycling rates of Aquafina beverage bottles through their innovative Bring Your Bottle Back to Life campaign. Select Buff fans are rewarded with custom 100% recycled shirts every time the Buffs score a touchdown or make a 3-pointer.
As the nation's largest producer of compostable foodware, Eco-Products has provided the Buffs with supplies and support at Folsom Field since 2009 and Franklin Field Zero Waste Tailgate Zone since 2015. They have been a trusted partner for many years and support the mission of RGS through certified compostalbe products.
Since 2010, the Environmental Affairs team at Wells Fargo has supported the RGS Water for the West program. This effort helps CU conserve water on campus, install low-flow plumbing in Boulder homes and restores water flow to the Colorado River.
