Join a club for 2021!

Did you know that there are over seven clubs for you to join if you’re interested in sustainability at CU Boulder?

Profound Connections is a CESR project started on campus by Caitlin O’Neill and Cindy Lee that brings sustainability-oriented clubs together at CU Boulder. The goal of the project is to help with communication between clubs, help clubs grow, and create a linked community. Collectively, student leadership is helping CU reach sustainable goals. By being in better collaboration we can move faster and more effectively towards these goals.

Joining a club at CU is an awesome way to make friends, get involved on and off-campus, create memories, build resumes, and gain experience through volunteering and/or building skills! Do you like animals? Check out CU Wildlife Club! If you’re interested in farming, why not check out the CU Farm Club? What about bees or beekeeping? The CU Bee Club has got something for you!

If you’re interested in taking on leadership roles and building leadership skills, clubs are the perfect opportunity to build that resume! Most clubs at CU cycle through leadership positions every two years, so if you join in now you are one step closer to taking a leadership role, and also having fun while doing it. Club leaders on campus also have the opportunity to get scholarships potentially for their service on campus.

The options are endless, there is something out there for everyone, and the best thing about all of this is...all these clubs are constantly looking for more members! No matter your major, there is no prerequisite or restriction to join a club. If you’re interested in sustainability but don’t have time to formally study the subjects these clubs can offer you an experience you’ll love and help you form connections with like-minded people. So reach out to one of the clubs below and get involved- lurk or take a leadership position, all are welcome. Lets make CU more sustainable, Buffs!

These clubs are active, and ready for more members! Even during social distancing, they want to welcome you into community! Join now and reach out to one of the emails below.
