Tiel Lundy

Tiel Lundy is an associate teaching professor jointly appointed in the Department of Cinema Studies and Moving Image Arts and the Creative Minds @Libby Residential Academic Program. Her research and teaching interests traverse literature, film and material culture. She has published essays and given papers ranging in subject from William Wyler’s 1949 production of The Heiress, Busby Berkeley’s Gold Digger films, Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained, and the lingerie industry in Hollywood from 1930 to 1949. Lundy has been teaching a course on cinematic horror for over 10 years. She earned a PhD in English from the University of Denver in 2007.
