Steve Bosley is a CU alumnus (Bachelor - Business Administration). In 2003, CU Boulder awarded him an Honorary Doctorate. He was a CU Regent for 12 years. He chaired the presidential search committees which chose former CU Presidents Hank Brown in 2005, Bruce Benson in 2008. He worked in Colorado’s banking and finance industry for more than 35 years and was the President of the Bank of Boulder for 23 years. He received the Alumni Lifetime Service Award - Leeds School; Esprit Entrepreneur Lifetime Achievement Award, Boulder Chamber; Rocky Mountain region Entrepreneur of the Year; Boulder County Business Hall of Fame; and Boy Scouts of America, Distinguished Citizen of the Year. He is the founder of the world-renowned BolderBOULDER 10K road race. He was inducted into the Running USA Hall of Fame, Colorado Running Hall of Fame, and the Boulder Sports Hall of Fame. He was the  senior referee for the men’s and women’s marathons at the 1996 Olympics. He coached youth soccer, basketball and Odyssey of the Mind, and was a Boy Scouts volunteer and advisor.
