Celebrating 75 Years: CWA 2023

On behalf of the Conference on World Affairs, we would like to thank all of you who joined us in April for CWA 2023, in-person and virtually.

Celebrating 75 years, this year’s Conference on World Affairs explored perspectives on the impact of a changing global climate—including impacts on urban planning, employment, food production and other aspects of daily life. Panelists considered how journalism and the arts affect public perception of the changing climate and more. This year's program included an exciting keynote address from environmental photographer and CU alumnus, James Balog, and an engaging Leo Hill Speaker Series conversation between former CEO and President of Patagonia Inc., Rose Marcario, and Chancellor Philip DiStefano. Special thank you to the CU Boulder College of Music for organizing wonderful jazz performances for our audiences to enjoy throughout the week’s events!

If you missed our audience survey, we are still collecting feedback from attendees. Please take a few minutes to let us know about your experience.
