Other perspectives and forward leaning remedies for cities have been shared in his TED talk and works such as The End of Traffic and the Future of Transport. At the State Department, as part of the Jefferson Science Fellowship, Krizek advanced global infrastructure initiatives to spur clean energy form, digital security and smart cities. He was a 2013 fellow of the Leopold Leadership Program, served as a visiting professor at Radboud University from 2014 to 2017 and was awarded a 2014 U.S.-Italy Fulbright Scholarship. He earned a PhD in urban design and planning, and a Master of Science in civil engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle.
