Dr. Scott Sherman

Dr. Scott Sherman is the co-founder and director of an award-winning social enterprise, the Transformative Action Institute (TAI). The mission of TAI is to train the next generation of social entrepreneurs, innovators, and change makers for the 21st century - young people who can help solve the most important challenges of our time.

TAI originated from Sherman’s doctoral research investigating the most effective strategies for social change: “the science of making the world a better place.” It has become a clearinghouse of hope for students from all over the world.

Sherman has taught courses on social entrepreneurship, social innovation, and environmental solutions at numerous universities, including UCLA, Berkeley, Yale, Princeton, Penn, and Johns Hopkins. He is also an expert on the key skills that people need to succeed in an age of AI.
