Daniel Herranz is a writer and creative based in Mexico City. He has worked in many magazines focused on art, architecture and design. In fashion he has worked in editorial, styling, creative direction, production, public relations, management and promotion and, finally, in creation as a designer.

He has developed owner projects such as Colectivo Diseño Mexicano, a platform for the promotion and consumption of Mexican design. In 2020 he published HECHA EN MÉXICO, a book written by Herranz that talks about the development of the fashion industry in Mexico (from 1999 to 2019), this book is currently a base text for the design department of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

He has been working for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico for more than 10 years and in 2021 he created Zurce, his own fashion brand with a contemporary and utilitarian approach. He has also collaborated with many international brands like The Walt Disney Company, Paramount, Moët Chandon, MAC Cosmetics, etc.

Herranz is currently developing a new project for young designers. It is a new fashion week focused on new generations. The name is FASHION FORWARD in partnership with TikTok Latam.
