Denver’s CBS4 news director Tim Wieland (Jour’91) spoke at the journalism and mass communication Homecoming program “Hot News: Smart Tools,” sharing how his team uses digital technology for its storytelling. Tim oversaw his staff’s coverage of last summer’s news stories, including the state’s devastating wildfires and Aurora theater shooting. In 1999 Tim covered the Columbine High School shootings for CNN.
