Chris Davenport (Hist’93) and Aspen ski mountaineers Christy and Ted Mahon made history this spring by summiting Colorado’s 13,824-foot Jagged Mountain and skiing down.
The CU ski team rallied in a big way on the final day of the NCAA Championships in Vermont to claim its 19th national title in the sport and second in the last three years.
Two CU skiers earned individual NCAA championships this year — Eliska Hajkova (women’s 15K classical) and Reid Pletcher (men’s 20K classical) — bringing the Buffs’ all-time record total to 83.
