Kristine Hurst-Wajszczuk

Director of opera at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Kristine Hurst-Wajszczuk (PhDMus’04) was honored by the National Opera Association for her production of Benjamin Britten’s The Burning Fiery Furnace. It placed first nationally among other universities and colleges in the opera production competition. She lives in Fultondale, Ala.
