Jon Coleman

Here Lies Hugh Glass, a novel by Jon Coleman (Hist’92, MA’97), is “a vigorously written meditation on 19th-century America’s encounter with the wilderness,” according to The Wall Street Journal. Jon is an American history professor at the University of Notre Dame. He also wrote Vicious: Wolves and Men in America, which won the W. Turrentine Jackson Prize and the John H. Dunning Prize. Jon lives in South Bend, Ind.
