New York Times journalist John Branch (Mktg’89, MJour’96) won the Pulitzer Prize in feature writing in spring for writing “Snow Fall: The Avalanche at Tunnel Creek” project. ASNE honored “Snow Fall” as part of its awards for the best journalism of 2012. The American Society of News Editors said the project “sets a new standard for online storytelling.” John visited campus in February to talk to journalism classes, faculty and staff.
