Thomas Phillips

After spending 36 years in the military, followed by a period working as a university administrator, Thomas Phillips (MOrgMgmt’71) became a writer. He brings his extensive experience to military history books and finds time to write short stories and poetry. Tom published his first book, The YouTube Candidate, in August 2024. The story, a political thriller set in a present-day divisive atmosphere, follows a man’s unexpected path to running for president of the United States. Tom lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.
