Geary Larrick

Geary Larrick (DMus’84) is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his first published music composition “Marie: A Four-Mallet Rag,” which he wrote in the spring of 1975 while teaching at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Geary went on to write dozens of works, many of which he published through G and L Publishing, which he co-founded with his wife, Lydia. Some of his work is preserved in the American Music Research Center at the CU Boulder College of Music.
