Amanda Rose Villarreal

Amanda Rose Villarreal (PhDThtr’21), a faculty member at California State University Fullerton, created and launched a teaching credential program for future theatre teachers. While doing this work, they have worked as an intimacy choreographer and coordinator throughout the U.S., Australia and Europe. Their forthcoming book combines teaching, consent and performance into a new framework for facilitating arts education in ways that support students’ personal and cognitive development needs.
