Cindy Garcia

Salsa Crossings by Cindy Garcia (Anth’91) is a book about how Los Angeles salsa clubs are a place where social statuses of gender, race, class, nationality, citizenship and belonging are enacted on and off the dance floor. Cindy is a theatre arts and dance assistant professor at the University of Minnesota.
