Brian Peterson
Photographer Brian Peterson (EnvSt, Geol’04) co-created Photohoku to help disaster-plagued families restart their photo albums that were lost in the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan in March 2011. A Tokyo resident of 10 years, he and teams of professional photographers visited families who lost their photos in the tsunami-ravaged regions and helped them start new albums by making family portraits on instant film. After the tornadoes hit Oklahoma last spring, Brian started Photoklahoma. Brian lives in Tokyo with his wife and family.
