Aileen El-Kadi

Author Aileen El-Kadi (PhDSpan’07) published her book Sam No Es Mi Tio last year. The book chronicles the Latin American experience in the U.S. It was published in 12 countries and was ranked second best-seller, nonfiction book by Amazon in 2012. Aileen lives in El Paso, Texas, where she is an assistant professor and director of Brazilian studies at the University of Texas at El Paso.
