- Celebrating Peggy Gordon's contributions to the Department of Environmental Design after 27 years with CU
- Each spring, a group of environmental design honors students defend their theses to their dedicated thesis committee. Afterward, the Honors Council meets and awards Latin honors at the levels of cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude.

- The University of Colorado Boulder Program in Environmental Design has announced the recipient of the 2024 Environmental Design Alumni Awards. This year’s honoree for the Distinguished Alumni Award is Mark Meiser and the Young Designer Award recipient is Kate Sector.
- A central conference room in the Environmental Design building, typically referenced as ENVD 134A, has been reimagined, redesigned and repurposed
- Over the summer, a hard-working group of faculty, staff and students spent months updating studio spaces in both the basement and eastern wing of the third floor of the ENVD building.
- The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) conference was held Nov. 11-14, 2022, in San Francisco. There was a record turnout in attendees from Environmental Design, which included seven landscape architecture majors, Taylor Atkins, Sean Donovan, Halley Douglas, CJ Ebberly, Theo Johnson and Austin Shoer, and three faculty members, Maggie Aravena, Christy Rogers and Amy Saunders.
