- COLORADO LULLABY PROJECT 2021

I adore babies, and have always been interested in what kinds of music they hear within their first few months of life. I think the Lullaby Project is such a lovely collaboration between moms and musicians, and will hopefully revive the idea into popularity of mothers singing to their children.
Nathan is an active performer, educator, and composer. He is currently working towards his Master of Music degree in percussion at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he serves as a Teaching Assistant for the Brass and Percussion department.
He has been involved in the competitive marching band arts for several years, performing with Vigilantes Indoor Percussion, Rhythm X, and the Bluecoats. Nathan now teaches the Front Ensemble at Legends Drum and Bugle corps. While studying previously at Indiana University, Nathan performed in various ensembles, including Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Afro-Cuban Ensemble, and Latin Jazz and Brazilian Ensemble. His principal teachers include Kevin Bobo, Doug Walter, John Tafoya, Michael Spiro, Steve Houghton, Brian West, and Joe Galvin.
Nathan's primary specialties are marimba performance using the Stevens Technique and Afro-Latin percussion throughout America. He teaches with a strong background in Afro-Musics and a deep knowledge in freelancing percussion culture that he hopes to share with his percussion students.
