  • COLORADO LULLABY PROJECT 2021-2022

I'm most excited about the Lullaby Project because it allows an opportunity for new and expecting families to share their love for their newborns in a unique way. My mom wrote her own lullaby for me when I was a newborn, and she sang it to me recently (last week - on the phone) as an adult when she heard about the Lullaby Project. That said, composing a lullaby is an intimate process that will produce a timeless product, and I am looking forward to helping these families do just that.

A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Angela Schmitt enjoys a diverse career as a pianist and educator.
